The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. Therefore, we process your data exclusively based on legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In these privacy notices we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

All contents uploaded by stardustday users can basically be called up by other internet users. Therefore, cautiousness and prudence is essential when publishing personal information and sensitive data. Also password-protected sites do not guarantee absolute protection from unauthorized access; the same applies for uploaded data which are possibly accessible via direct links.

Contract Processing

Data processing following the legal regulations pursuant to Sec 96 para 3 TKG (Telecommunications Act) as well as Art 6 Para 1 lit b (necessary for contractual performance) of the GDPR:

For the purpose of contractual performance the following data will be stored by us: Name, address, email, language, products purchased and order date. Data provided by you are necessary for the contractual performance or the implementation of measures provided for in the contract. Without these data we cannot conclude a contract with you.

We will not transfer your data to third parties.

Upon conclusion of a contract all data from the contractual relationship will be stored by us until the expiration of the fiscal retention period (7 years).

Data we store, i.e. name, address, email, language, products purchased and order dates will be stored until the expiration of product liability (10 years).

This website uses the payment provider Digistore24 GmbH (St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim, Germany) to process payments. For this purpose personal data being name, address, email-address, payment information, date of the conclusion of the contract and services booked will be exchanged with the provider. These data will be transferred to a server of the provider in Germany and stored there.

The staff of stardustday have access to the administrative area of stardustday-sites as needed in order to ensure customer service and bug-detection. This includes insight into password-protected sites. All our staff members are sensitized regarding data protection at regular intervals and are bound to data secrecy.

For this purpose the email-address and name of the user will be passed on to the provider.

The connection to the mail-sender is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission („Privacy Shield“). Furthermore we have concluded a data processor contract in which Amazon Web Services, Inc. undertakes to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Our website uses functions of the web analysis provider Google Analytics (with anonymization function). Operating company is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA. For this, cookies are being used which enable an analysis of the use of the website through its users. The information created by this is stored on the servers of the provider in the EU and outside the EU.

Your IP-address will be collected but immediately anonymized by deleting the last 8 bits. User data will be stored for 26 months.

We concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for contract data processing. The connection to the web-analysis provider is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission („Privacy Shield“).
